Toy Story 3

The game follows the storyline of the Toy Story 3 movie. Andy is going off to college and his toys Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie and the rest of the gang are accidentally donated to Sunnyside Daycare instead of being stored in the attic. It may appear to be a paradise for toys but it is ruled over by the tyrannical Lotso Huggin’ Bear, who rules the daycare with an iron fist and forces new toys into the harsh play area. Woody and his friends must band together to escape from Sunnyside and make it back to Andy before he leaves for college.

The game has two radically different gameplay styles: story mode (linear, movie-based levels) and open-world sandbox mode (Toy Box Mode). Story Mode is the platforming, light combat and puzzle solving as you navigate characters through iconic movie locations. Toy Box Mode allows players to freely explore Andy's hometown, complete quests, customize buildings, create their own mini-games and challenges — all in a manner reminiscent of an open-world sandbox. Each character is played differently – Buzz Lightyear has different combat and gliding moves than Woody’s agility-based traversal. The game includes collectibles scattered throughout levels that unlock bonus content and customization items. Multiple playable characters can be swapped between during missions, each suited for different challenges (combat, platforming, puzzle-solving).

Complete story driven levels that follow the plot of the movie from Sunnyside Daycare to the dump and back home. Explore each level, solve environmental puzzles and platforming challenges. Fight and perform action sequences against enemy toys controlled by Lotso and his crew. Or, try Toy Box Mode for the free-roam sandbox experience and build and customize your own town. In Toy Box mode earn new toys, costumes and building pieces by completing side quests and mini-games.
