Legend of Zelda, The: Spirit Tracks Story

Spirit Tracks is set in the Kingdom of Hyrule where Link just finished his training, and is a train engineer. Princess Zelda summons him to Hyrule Castle because the Spirit Tracks — the magical seals that keep the Demon King Malladus imprisoned — are mysteriously disappearing. At the castle, evil Chancellor Cole separates Zelda’s soul from her body in order to revive Malladus. Zelda's body is possessed, but her spirit survives — visible only to Link. She then travels alongside him by inhabiting a suit of Phantom armor. Together they will: Restore the Spirit Tracks Move to Tower of Spirits Consult the ancient spirit Anjean Seal Malladus permanently and recover Zelda's body. The story combines train travel, temple exploration, and epic boss battles into an engaging Zelda adventure.

Legend of Zelda, The: Spirit Tracks Gameplay

Spirit Tracks builds on the classic Zelda formula while introducing several new mechanics: Train Travel. You don’t walk or ride a horse, you travel the overworld by train. Players drive along the tracks, avoid obstacles, and use cannons to fend off enemies. Phantom Companion: Zelda’s spirit can take up residence in a set of Phantom armor, helping Link fight and solve puzzles. Dungeons: The Tower of Spirits is a central hub dungeon revisited multiple times throughout the game, each visit unlocking new floors. Items & Weapons: Classic tools like the bow, boomerang, bombs, and whip are used to solve puzzles and defeat enemies. Touch Screen Mechanics: The use of the stylus to control Link's movement, attacks and item usage is the defining gameplay mechanic for this title.
