Digimon World DS

The story begins with the main character getting mysteriously sucked into the Digital World after chasing a strange Digimon through a portal. The player is thrown into a rundown, deserted town, many of its Digimon citizens missing or scattered about as an evil darkness engulfs the world. With your starter partner Digimon , you explore various areas of the Digital World , fight wild Digimon , investigate the source of the corruption , and slowly convince stray Digimon to come back and repopulate the town . As the town expands new areas are opened up, along with shops and NPCs. The main Storyline is a battle against the dark forces that threaten to take over the entire Digital World, with some high octane battles against powerful antagonist Digimon.

Digimon World DS combines a few gameplay systems: Explore various biomes/regions of the Digital World, each with their own enemies and secrets. Digimon Capture – Battle with wild Digimon and beat them to capture them for your team. Digivolution & Raising – Feed, train and care for your Digimon to evolve them to stronger forms. Fighting – Fighting based on action and timing and positioning. Town Building – Recruit and settle Digimon in your headquarters to unlock new services and shops. Breeding: Combine Digimon to generate new species with inherited traits.

Begin a new game and create your Tamer. Your first partner Digimon. Take on missions from DATS HQ. Explore Different Digital Spaces. Enemy, wild, War Digimon. Train to increase your Digimon's stats. Evolve your Digimon into more powerful forms. Defeat bosses and save Digital World.

Download and install a ds emulator for your platform (melonDS for PC, DraStic for Android, etc). Make sure that you have a legally obtained game file / cartridge dump of a copy you own. Open your emulator and load the necessary BIOS files, if required by the emulator (melonDS requires DS BIOS + firmware files for the best accuracy). Set video options (resolution scale, screen layout - top/bottom or side by side). Set your input / controller bindings (see below). Open the game file with the “Open ROM” or “Load Game” option of the emulator. If you have performance issues on lower end hardware, try adjusting the audio, and frame-skip settings. Save progress by using in-game save points or the emulator's save-state feature.
