The story is about Yui Komori, a high school girl whose life takes a turn when she moves to a new town due to her father's work. Yui is sent to live in a mysterious mansion where she meets the six Sakamaki brothers. Soon she discovers the brothers are vampires and her new home becomes a dangerous and disturbing place. Each brother Yui meets is up to her, and her choices dictate the direction of the story. Each character route is a different relationship and can lead to different endings.

Diabolik Lovers is a visual novel based on choices, not an action game. Players read dialogue, follow story events and choose what happens to change routes & endings for characters.
