A criminal who calls himself ABC sends mysterious letters to Hercule Poirot. Each crime is announced in advance by the murderer who invites Poirot to stop him. As the murders continue, Poirot must join seemingly unrelated dots and discover the identity and motive of the ABC killer before another murder occurs.
