Dimps Corporation & Sonic Team · SEGA

Sonic Rush is a fast-paced 2D platformer developed by Dimps and Sonic Team, and released for the Nintendo DS in 2005. It returned to the classic side-scrolling Sonic formula to handhelds, with a new visual style, a boost mechanic, and a brand new character: Blaze the Cat. This guide covers everything you need to know: the storyline, how the gameplay works, which emulators run it best, step-by-step installation, full control mapping, and the system specs required for smooth performance. Sonic Rush ROM is built around momentum-driven movement — loops, ramps, rail grinding, and vertical transitions between the DS's dual screens — combined with a boost gauge that lets players hit extreme speeds during levels.

Sonic Rush ROM Download Story

The story begins when strange dimensional distortions start ripping through Sonic's world. Investigating the disturbance, Sonic encounters Blaze the Cat, a quiet and disciplined princess from an entirely different dimension. Sonic and Blaze, with their vastly different personalities – one light-hearted, the other reserved – are forced into an uneasy alliance to thwart the scheme before their worlds collide. Sonic Rush NDS ROM Throughout the story, players will alternate between playing as Sonic and Blaze, each with their own version of the same stages, gradually uncovering Eggman Nega's true plan, and the connection between the two realities.
