Jump! Ultimate Stars

Jump! Ultimate Stars has no linear plot like most fighting games. Instead, it uses a "Story Mode" structured around unlocking and collecting Koma (character cards) tied to each manga series featured in the game. As players progress, they unlock character panels, support cards, and stage hazards themed after iconic Shōnen Jump story arcs — essentially letting fans relive key moments from dozens of manga series through short battle scenarios rather than one overarching narrative. The “story” is nothing more than a 40th anniversary celebration of Shonen Jump in the form of a tournament where all the big heroes and villains of the magazine’s history battle it out on one field.

Jump! Ultimate Stars is played on a 4×5 grid battlefield. Characters, support fighters and helper items are represented by physical style “Koma” (panel) cards. Key mechanics: Main Character Koma – At the beginning of each match you place your main fighter panel(s) onto the grid. Larger panels have more HP. Support Koma – Assign helper characters that can be summoned mid-battle using the L/R shoulder buttons instead of the touchscreen (a key upgrade from the original Jump Super Stars). Battle Koma – Special Ability Cards that when played trigger a special attack or effect. Combat – 2D platform fighting like Super Smash Bros where you try to knock your opponents off-screen or drain their HP panels. Stage interaction – Certain stages let you break through walls, floors, and ceilings to reach new areas, and characters can grab onto ledges to avoid falling off-stage. Modes – Story-style unlock mode, VS battles (local multiplayer via Wi-Fi/DS Download Play), and a huge collection mode for building your Koma deck. The objective in every match is simple: build the strongest possible Koma deck from your unlocked collection, then out-fight your opponent using a mix of combos, support summons, and stage control.

Download Jump! Ultimate Stars ROM. Download a Nintendo DS emulater. Launch the emulator. Load ROM file . Controls setup. Go to Story-Mode or Multiplayer. Unlock new characters and build better decks. Learn to do master combos and special attacks.

Download and install an emulator of your choice (melonDS or DeSmuME are recommended for PC). * Add the DS BIOS/firmware files if your emulator requires them (melonDS requires the real DS BIOS/firmware to be perfectly accurate, DeSmuME can do without them but will be less accurate).
