Gojira Story

In the year 2XXX A.D. when Pluto and Neptune will change orbits, Earth receives a declaration of war from an unknown planet. Invaders from Planet X attack earth with an army of space monsters to take over the universe. Earth fights back with her own heroes, Godzilla and Mothra. Gojira ROM Download Players take control of famous kaiju through a series of interplanetary battle stages called Ring Fields, battling from planet to planet until they reach the ultimate showdown with King Ghidorah on Planet X itself, in an epic battle to save the Earth.

Gojira Gameplay

The game is a side-scrolling action game that features a combination of exploration and monster-battling on several planetary stages. Players will choose between Godzilla and Mothra with unique strengths in combat encounters. The game has a large cast of characters and devices borrowed from Toho’s science-fiction film library, including several monsters that never appeared in an actual Godzilla film before or since. During the various stages you often fight against classic Toho kaiju such as Dogora and Manda. Fighting requires precise positioning and timing as Godzilla and Mothra must fend off endless waves of enemies while maintaining their limited health and power. The game is designed to encourage exploration and tactical travel between Ring Fields, and not just fast paced action. There was a sequel called Godzilla 2: War of the Monsters that came to the NES in 1992 and this time players could control the human Army trying to protect Japan from the monsters.
