After returning from his previous adventure, Captain Olimar discovers that his employer, Hocotate Freight, is seriously in debt. Olimar and Louie return to the Pikmin planet in hopes that a valuable treasure from his previous adventure may help save the company. The two characters explore the strange planet and collect valuable objects called treasures. During their journey, Olimar and Louie will face many different types of Pikmin, dangerous creatures, underground caves, puzzles and more difficult environments.
