Go Vacation does not feature a traditional story-driven campaign. Instead, players arrive at Kawawii Island as vacationers and explore its different resorts while participating in numerous activities. The main objective is to enjoy the island, discover new activities, earn stamps and rewards, and unlock additional content. Progressing through activities allows players to experience more of the island and discover new ways to travel and have fun.

Go Vacation gameplay is exploration based and activity based. Players aren’t following a mission structure, but instead free to roam the island and do what they want. Each resort is specialised in different activities. Players can participate in sports tournaments, races, outdoor adventures and recreational activities. Some have normal controls, others the Wii Remote and compatible accessories. There is also character customisation, where users can change their appearance and wardrobe. The island is huge, but cars and other forms of transport make it easier to explore, adding another layer of freedom to the experience.

To play Go Vacation, begin by creating and customizing your vacation character before entering Kawawii Island. Explore the different resort areas and look for activity locations marked around the island. Select an activity and follow its specific objectives, whether that involves racing, competing in a sport, exploring an environment, or completing an outdoor challenge. As you participate in activities, you can earn rewards and unlock additional content. You can also switch between different resorts, use vehicles to travel around the island, collect items, and customize your character. Multiplayer allows several players to participate in selected activities together.

Download and install the Dolphin Emulator compatible version Wii Controls Configuration – Configure Wii Remote or compatible motion control.
